Performing Arts

The Performing Arts department are always busy rehearsing and performing. Here is an example of what we get up to.
Past Performances:
- Shakespeare School’s Festival: Henry V, Macbeth and The Tempest
- Whole School Musicals: We Will Rock You, The Wiz, The Little Mermaid
- Music Concert every Term
- Ark Inspiring Excellence Music Programme: Annual concerts at the Barbican, Voice and Instrumental Workshops, Music Tours to Belgium, Annual Residential in Kent
Instrumental Lessons:
Instrument lessons are provided by the school with priority given to GCSE scholars. Lessons are 25 minutes long and are scheduled on a rotation so that the same classroom lesson is not missed. Lessons are provided for the following instruments: Piano, Drums, Voice, Guitar, Violin, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone.
