Working together Wednesdays

We know at ARK All Saints that the relationship between home and academy needs to be strong and positive if our scholars are to achieve their potential. We aim to run two sessions every six weeks in which parents are invited to attend events.

We understand that the move from KS2 to KS3 can be as daunting for parents as it can be for scholars and will provide opportunities for parents to learn about a range of topics that are relevant to families with teenagers.

We will provide information events on difficult subjects such as safer internet usage, social media guidelines, the curriculum and how choices will affect their families later on in life, finance and university.

We are also inviting key speakers from the community to these events such as the police, to assist us with issues such as keeping our children safe.

We will also run learning sessions on KS3 English, Maths and Science so that parents feel better prepared to support their children’s learning at home.

We are an academy that listens –we want to hear our parent’s voices and will provide events that suit the needs of our families.
